Alcobendas HUB fue invitado por la comisión europea al encuentro “Startup Europe comes to Israel (SEC2IL 2019)”, un evento basado en el ya exitoso formato de SEC2SV (Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley). Este encuentro se enmarca en la intención de estrechar lazos de cara al futuro con la comisión, y teniendo en cuenta el beneficio evidente que ello supondría para el tejido empresarial de Alcobendas. Hay que destacar que SEC2IL tiene como objetivo principal reunir a empresas, inversores, empresarios y responsables políticos del ecosistema empresarial de la UE e Israel cada año, por lo que se marca como algo estratégico para el HUB.
Alcobendas HUB estuvo representado por el secretario general de AICA, la Asociación de empresarios de Alcobendas, Luis Suárez de Lezo, quién manifestó que “el ecosistema de Israel es muy interesante para Alcobendas HUB, ya que se trata de un entorno con un problema intrínseco: la existencia de un mercado limitado que lastra la capacidad productiva. En este sentido, es un lugar estratégico para empresas que encajan perfectamente con el ecosistema productivo de Alcobendas, por lo que el objetivo principal es fomentar que puedan encontrar en nuestra ciudad la localización propicia para expandirse, tanto en Europa como en América Latina.”
Además, los asistentes pudieron participar en reuniones y talleres muy interesantes, forjando relaciones significativas a largo plazo.
La misión incluía también la participación en la SEP Scaleup Summit organizada en la bolsa de valores de Tel Aviv con un enfoque en ciberseguridad , movilidad y construcción / ciudades inteligentes .

Alcobendas HUB was invited by the European Commission to the meeting “Startup Europe comes to Israel (SEC2IL 2019)”,, an event based on the already successful format of SEC2SV (Startup Europe comes to Silicon Valley). This meeting is part of the intention to strengthen ties for the future with the commission, and taking into account the obvious benefit that this would mean for the business fabric of Alcobendas. It should be noted that SEC2IL’s main objective is to bring together companies, investors, businessmen and policy makers from the business ecosystem of the EU and Israel every year, so it is marked as something strategic for the HUB.
Alcobendas HUB was represented by the secretary general of AICA, the Association of Alcobendas businessmen, Luis Suarez de Lezo, who said that «the ecosystem of Israel is very interesting for Alcobendas HUB, since it is an environment with an intrinsic problem: the existence of a limited market that hinders production capacity. In this sense, it is a strategic place for companies that fit perfectly with the productive ecosystem of Alcobendas, so the main objective is to encourage them to find in our city the right location to expand, both in Europe and Latin America.
In addition, attendees were able to participate in very interesting meetings and workshops, forging meaningful long-term relationships.
The mission also included participation in the SEP Scaleup Summit organized on the Tel Aviv stock exchange with a focus on cybersecurity, mobility and construction / smart cities .
