At Alcobendas HUB the commitment to innovation is the key. Every day we work hand in hand with our city council, as well as with the Alcobendas Business Association to continue helping our companies and all those who decide to set up in our town with their project.
Along with this investment in the development of companies, at Alcobendas HUB we work every day to achieve a more advanced city that allows both its business ecosystem and its citizens to improve their day-to-day life in Alcobendas. As part of this work, the town is betting on sustainable mobility, innovation and the digitalization of its infrastructures in order to position itself as an intelligent city, making life easier for its citizens.
Within this work developed in collaboration with the different entities of Alcobendas, a Digital Innovation HUB or cooperation ecosystem is being developed, formed by multiple partners (corporations, SMEs, public administrations, associations, research centres, educational centres, etc.), focused on innovation opportunities to support the digital transformation of companies and public administrations.
As an example of this innovation and of all that Alcobendas is developing in terms of support for its companies and sustainable mobility, the Alcobendas City Council, Alcobendas HUB, AICA and various representatives of the mobility sector -which has its headquarters in our town- will participate this Wednesday 9th September in a new edition of Startup Olé, which this year, given the current situation will be more digital than ever.
On this day, Roberto Fraile, Councillor for Innovation, Digital Transformation and Economic Development of Alcobendas Town Council will participate in one of the day’s panel discussions dedicated to the innovation work being carried out by public administrations. This panel is scheduled to take place at 17:00-17:30.
That same day from 18:45, our director David Antelo will participate in the presentations of the day with a small pitch about the advantages of entrepreneurship in Alcobendas and all the opportunities that our city offers.
To close this day, Alcobendas will also participate in the panel discussion dedicated to sustainable mobility from 7:30 pm. The General Secretary of the Alcobendas Business Association (AICA), Luis Suárez de Lezo, will participate in this discussion, moderated by Roberto Fraile, as well as members of Ford, Wible and Daimler, companies with their headquarters in Alcobendas.
In the development of this panel, its members will not only talk about how this crisis by the Covid-19 has affected their corporations but also how they are working towards that sustainable mobility and as centres of innovation, such as the one developed in Alcobendas, help positively in this way.
Through the Alcobendas HUB social networks we will inform you of all the details about Alcobendas’ participation in Startup Olé.
